Special Fly Drive Offer - Only £495 per person including flights and a 4WD rental car

The best time to see the Northern Lights in Iceland is from October to April. This winter is supposed to be exceptionally good. The Package includes flights, a 4WD rental car, 1 night accommodation in Reykjavik and 2 nights in the countryside.  Departure dates are every Thursday, from November 2012 to April 2013, subject to availability.  Booking at least 2 weeks before departure, and the price is £495 per person based on 2 people sharing.

Iceland nature is a luxury to be enjoyed. You will have the best of both, stay in the countryside for 2 nights and in Reykjavik for 1 night. Enjoy the scenery. It is so much to see and you will be able to cover some of Iceland’ s natural wonders if you stay outside of Reykjavik for 2 nights.

ITINERARY SUGGESTION

Departure from London, Gatwick about 2 pm. Arrival in Keflavik about 5 pm.  Pick up the 4wd car at the Airport.

Drive to the hotel in Reykjavik. Accommodation in hotel located in central Reykjavik  double/twin room with breakfast .

The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis are a spectacular natural phenomen-on. Depending on the weather, we will assist you in planning a late evening drive to a location, where you will most likely see the Northern Lights.


Golden Circle Drive

The Geyser geothermal area

The Golden Circle is a fascinating experience. You can explore the world-famous Geysir geothermal area, a geothermal field where hot springs are in abundance, geysers erupt and pools of mud bubble.

Stay 2 nights at a hotel in the countryside.

You can also explore the magnificent Gullfoss waterfalls and visit Þingvellir national park, the original site of the oldest existing parliament in the world. At Thingvellir, the great Atlantic rift is clearly visible. You may want to take a snowmobile ride from the Langjokull Glacier. Pick up from the  Gullfoss area around 1pm.

Drive to the Blue Lagoon.  Enjoy the Blue Lagoon for 2-3 hours. You can book a treatment if you like, have a lunch at the Blue Lagoon or just relax in this wonderful spa.

Departure to the UK from Keflavik International Airport, Sunday about 5 pm, and arrival in Gatwick, London at 8 pm.
