During the volcanic eruption in Eyjafjallajokull last spring - Ash Fall in Iceland an Estimated 140 Million Cubic Meters

Iceland Review reported news about the ash fall in Iceland durning the volcanic eruption in Eyjafjallajokull last spring. The estimated ash fall was around 140 million cubic meters and that is excluded the ash that fell into the ocean and in other countries. "There hasn’t been an eruption in Iceland that resulted in a similar extent of ash fall since the Hekla eruption in 1947 or even the Katla eruption of 1918" Iceland Review reports.
