“Gamlarsdagur” Celebrate with Icelandic people the last day of the year and welcome the New Year 2011. 
Icelandic people attend community bonfires “Brenna” in their home towns and these take place in all the towns around the capital from 8-10 pm, each one ending with a firework display.
