Trúbatrix on Tour in Iceland
Trúbatrix, a league of Icelandic female musicians, have
returned to Iceland after a successful tour in the UK last spring and
have now launched a tour around their home country in cooperation with
the Kraum music fund. During the tour, new up-and-coming musicians will be
introduced. Trúbatrix advertised for new performers earlier this summer
and received a flood of applications. At least ten new performers will
join them on their tour, a press release states. On August 24, they will perform at Merkigil in Eyrarbakki and on August 24 and 25 at Gamla Kaupfélagid in Akranes. The tour ends with a concert at Pakkhúsid in Höfn on August 26. Admission is free for all concerts. Iceland Review
