Yoko Ono Organizes Concert in Iceland
Musician, artist and pacifist Yoko Ono will perform in
concert with the Plastic Ono Band in Iceland and organize various other
events to encourage world peace in relation to what would have been late
husband John Lennon’s 70th birthday on October 9. Ono will light the Imagine Peace Tower on Videy island outside Reykjavík at 8 pm on that day—as she has done in past years—and invite the world to join her in a live broadcast on imaginepeace.com, Morgunbladid reports.Iceland Review
